Abdullah bin Abu Awfa reported,

A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, I am unable to learn anything from the Quran, so teach me something that will suffice me."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Say, Glory be to Allah, praise be to Allah, there is no god but Allah, Allah is the greatest, and there is no power nor strength except through Allah."The man said, "Messenger of Allah, this is for Allah , so what is for me?"The Prophet ﷺ said, "Say, O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, grant me well-being, guide me, and provide for me."Then the man turned away with his hands closed, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "As for this man, he has filled his hands with goodness."Masaar said, I heard this hadith from Ibrahim al-Saksaki from Ibn Abu Awfa from the Prophet ﷺ, and someone other than me confirmed it for me.

عن ابن أبي أوفى قال

جاء رجل إلى النبي ﷺ فقال يا رسول الله إني لا أستطيع أخذ شيء من القرآن فعلمني ما يجزئني قال قل سبحان الله والحمد لله ولا إله إلا الله والله أكبر ولا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله قال يا رسول الله هذا لله عز وجل فما لي قال قل اللهم اغفر لي وارحمني وعافني واهدني وارزقني ثم أدبر وهو ممسك كفيه فقال النبي ﷺ أما هذا فقد ملأ يديه من الخير قال مسعر فسمعت هذا الحديث من إبراهيم السكسكي عن ابن أبي أوفى عن النبي ﷺ وثبتني فيه غيري
