The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and he mentioned its meaning. Muhammad said, "I do not know whether he began with the dark bay or with the black."He said, they asked him, "Why is the chestnut superior?"He replied, "Because the Messenger of Allah ﷺ dispatched a military expedition, and the first to bring news of the victory was the rider of the chestnut horse."

قال رسول الله ﷺ فذكر معناه قال محمد ولا أدري بالكميت بدأ أو بالأدهم قال وسألوه لم فضل الأشقر قال لأن رسول الله ﷺ بعث سرية فكان أول من جاء بالفتح صاحب الأشقر
