An aunt of his came to the Prophet ﷺ with a need, and after she had finished with her need, the Prophet ﷺ asked her, "Do you have a husband?"She replied, "Yes."He asked, "How are you with him?"She said, "I spare him nothing except what is beyond my ability."He said, "Then pay close attention to where you stand with him, for he is your paradise and your hell."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال أخبرنا يحيى بن سعيد عن بشير بن يسار
أن عمة له أتت النبي ﷺ في حاجة ففرغت من حاجتها فقال لها النبي ﷺ أذات زوج أنت قالت نعم قال كيف أنت له قالت ما آلوه إلا ما عجزت عنه قال فانظري أين أنت منه فإنما هو جنتك ونارك
Its isnad is sahih. Bashir bin Yasar Abu Yasar Harithi Ansari is trustworthy, and his hadith appears in the collections of the group (al-Jamaah). Haythami said in 4/306, "Its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Husayn, who is trustworthy," as if he did not consider him one of the companions. Hakim graded it sahih in 2/189, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
