He was narrating, saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Any man who pledges a dowry to a woman, while Allah knows that he does not intend to fulfill it, has deceived her by invoking Allah's name and made her private parts lawful to himself through falsehood. He will meet Allah on the Day he meets Him as a fornicator. And any man who takes a loan from another, while Allah knows that he does not intend to repay it, has deceived him by invoking Allah's name and taken his wealth through falsehood. He will meet Allah on the Day he meets Him as a thief."
حدثنا هشيم أخبرنا عبد الحميد بن جعفر عن الحسن بن محمد الأنصاري قال حدثني رجل من النمر بن قاسط قال سمعت
يحدث قال قال رسول الله ﷺ أيما رجل أصدق امرأة صداقا والله يعلم أنه لا يريد أداءه إليها فغرها بالله واستحل فرجها بالباطل لقي الله يوم يلقاه وهو زان وأيما رجل ادان من رجل دينا والله يعلم أنه لا يريد أداءه إليه فغره بالله واستحل ماله بالباطل لقي الله عز وجل يوم يلقاه وهو سارق
Its chain of transmission is daif, due to the anonymity of the narrator from Suhayb. Tabarani related the hadith in Al-Kabir 8/40, no. 7301, and Haythami graded it daif in 4/284, likewise due to the narrator's anonymity.
