Fadl and I came riding a female donkey while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was leading the people in prayer at Arafah. We passed in front of part of the row, dismounted, and left the donkey to graze, then joined the row. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said nothing to me about it.
حدثنا سفيان عن الزهري عن عبيد الله
جئت أنا والفضل ونحن على أتان ورسول الله ﷺ يصلي بالناس بعرفة فمررنا على بعض الصف فنزلنا عنها وتركناها ترتع ودخلنا في الصف فلم يقل لي رسول الله ﷺ شيئا
Its isnad is sahih. Ubaydullah is Ibn Abdullah bin Utbah, and in H it appears as Abdullah "with takbir," which is an error. The hadith was narrated by the group, as in al-Muntaqa 1154.
