One of the two narrators adds details beyond the other. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out in the year of Hudaybiyyah with somewhat over a thousand of his companions. When he reached Dhul-Hulayfah, he garlanded the sacrificial animals, marked them, and entered the state of ihram from there. Its isnad is sahih. Its narrators are trustworthy and well-known, and the hadith was narrated by Nasai, 5/169, no. 2771, in the chapter on Hajj, marking the sacrificial animal, but he did not complete the hadith and only completed it with a different chain.
