He used to perform ablution washing each part once, attributing this practice to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

Its isnad is sahih. Walid bin Muslim is the scholar of Syria, a trustworthy and precise transmitter, sound in knowledge. Uzai is Abdul-Rahman bin Amr, the imam of the people of Syria in his time, trustworthy, reliable, virtuous, and abundant in hadith, knowledge, and jurisprudence.The hadith, in meaning, was narrated by the group except Muslim, as in Muntaqa 283.
