Abu Rashid reported,

Ammar bin Yasir delivered a sermon to us and kept it brief. A man from Quraysh said to him, "You spoke words that were healing. If only you had made it longer."Ammar replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us from prolonging the sermon."
