He saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he mentioned the hadith, saying in it that he placed his right hand upon his left.Shuba added on another occasion, "When he was in rukoo, he placed his hands on his knees and held his arms away from his sides during the rukoo."
حدثنا أسود بن عامر حدثنا شعبة عن عاصم بن كليب قال سمعت أبي يحدث
أنه رأى رسول الله ﷺ فذكره وقال فيه ووضع يده اليمنى على اليسرى قال وزاد فيه شعبة مرة أخرى فلما كان في الركوع وضع يده على ركبتيه وجافى في الركوع
