He saw the Prophet ﷺ pray. The Prophet pronounced the takbir and raised his hands. When he bowed, he raised his hands, and when he lifted his head from bowing, he raised his hands again. He kept his arms spread away from his sides during bowing and during prostration. When he sat for the tashahhud, he placed his right thigh over his left, placed his right hand on his thigh, pointed with his index finger, and formed a ring with his middle finger.
حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم حدثنا شعبة عن عاصم بن كليب قال سمعت أبي يحدث
أنه رأى النبي ﷺ صلى فكبر فرفع يديه فلما ركع رفع يديه فلما رفع رأسه من الركوع رفع يديه وخوى في ركوعه وخوى في سجوده فلما قعد يتشهد وضع فخذه اليمنى على اليسرى ووضع يده اليمنى وأشار بإصبعه السبابة وحلق بالوسطى
