A man reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade cupping for the fasting person and continuous fasting without breaking it, though he did not make it unlawful for his companions.They said, "Messenger of Allah, you yourself fast continuously until the predawn meal."He replied, "I fast continuously until the predawn meal, but my Lord feeds me and gives me drink."

حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا سفيان عن عبد الرحمن بن عابس عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ليلى

عن رجل من أصحاب النبي ﷺ قال

نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن الحجامة للصائم والمواصلة ولم يحرمها على أصحابه قالوا يا رسول الله إنك تواصل إلى السحر قال إن أواصل إلى السحر فربي عز وجل يطعمني ويسقيني
