A man reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade cupping for the fasting person and continuous fasting without breaking, though he did not make it strictly unlawful for any of his companions.They said, "Messenger of Allah, you yourself continue your fast until the predawn meal."He replied, "I continue my fast until the predawn meal because my Lord feeds me and gives me drink."

عن رجل من أصحاب النبي ﷺ قال

نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن الحجامة للصائم والمواصلة ولم يحرمها على أحد من أصحابه قالوا يا رسول الله إنك تواصل إلى السحر فقال إني أواصل إلى السحر وإن ربي عز وجل يطعمني ويسقيني
