The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not go out to meet the caravans." Ibn Jafar's version reads, "Imported goods are not to be intercepted, and a town-dweller must not sell on behalf of a desert-dweller. Whoever buys a musarrah has the better of two choices afterward." Ibn Jafar said, "One of two choices. If he returns it, he must return with it a saa of food," or, "a saa of dates."

قال رسول الله ﷺ لا تلقوا الركبان قال ابن جعفر لا يتلقى جلب ولا يبع حاضر لباد ومن اشترى مصراة فهو فيها بآخر النظرين وقال ابن جعفر بأحد النظرين إن ردها رد معها صاعا من طعام أو صاعا من تمر
