I was in a house where Utba bin Farqad was present, and I wanted to relate a hadith. There was a man from among the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who seemed more entitled to narrate it than I was.So the man narrated from the Prophet ﷺ that he said, "During Ramadan the gates of heaven are opened, the gates of Hell are shut, and every rebellious devil is chained. A caller cries out every night, 'Seeker of good, come forward. Seeker of evil, hold back.'"

كنت في بيت فيه عتبة بن فرقد فأردت أن أحدث بحديث قال فكان رجل من أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ كأنه أولى بالحديث منه قال فحدث الرجل عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال في رمضان تفتح أبواب السماء وتغلق أبواب النار ويصفد فيه كل شيطان مريد وينادي مناد كل ليلة يا طالب الخير هلم ويا طالب الشر أمسك
