I came to Ibn Abbas at Arafah while he was eating a pomegranate, and he said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ broke his fast at Arafah, for Umm Fadl sent him some milk and he drank it. Then he said, 'May Allah curse so-and-so. They have set out to ruin the greatest of the days of Hajj by erasing its adornment. The adornment of Hajj is only the talbiyah.'"
قال حدثنا إسماعيل حدثنا أيوب قال لا أدري أسمعته من
أتيت على ابن عباس بعرفة وهو يأكل رمانا فقال أفطر رسول الله ﷺ بعرفة وبعثت إليه أم الفضل بلبن فشربه و قال لعن الله فلانا عمدوا إلى أعظم أيام الحج فمحوا زينته وإنما زينة الحج التلبية
