The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If any of you, when approaching his wife, were to say, 'In the name of Allah. O Allah, keep Satan away from me and keep Satan away from what You have provided us,' then if a child were decreed for them from that union, Satan would never harm that child."
حدثنا عبد العزيز بن عبد الصمد عن منصور عن سالم بن أبي الجعد الغطفاني عن كريب
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لو أن أحدهم إذا أتى أهله قال بسم الله اللهم جنبني الشيطان وجنب الشيطان ما رزقتنا فإن قدر بينهما في ذلك ولد لم يضر ذلك الولد الشيطان أبدا
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari related it in 1:212, 6:242, 11:161, and 13:321, and Muslim in 1:408, both by way of Mansur, from Salim.Abdul-Aziz bin Abdul-Samad Ammi is trustworthy and a hafiz. Mansur is Ibn Mutamir. In the two original manuscripts it reads "Abdul-Aziz bin Abdul-Samad bin Mansur," which is a clear error.It will come again at 1908, 2178, 2555, 2597.
