Bara reported, "We were traveling with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when we came upon a well that was nearly dry, meaning it had very little water in it. Six of us went down into it to bail out water, and I was the sixth. A bucket was lowered down to us."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was standing at the edge of the well. We managed to fill the bucket halfway, or close to two thirds, and it was raised up to him."Bara continued, "I scraped with my vessel to see whether I could find anything at all to put down my throat, but I found nothing. So the bucket was raised up to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he dipped his hand into it and said what Allah willed him to say. Then the bucket was sent back down to us with its water still in it."He said, "I then saw one of us pulled out with a garment for fear that he would drown." Then he added, "After that it gushed forth," meaning it ran like a river.
