We arrived at Hudaybiyyah, which was a well that had been drained dry, and we were fourteen hundred in number. A bucket was drawn from it, and the Prophet ﷺ rinsed his mouth with some of the water, then spat it back into the well and made supplication. We drank our fill and gave our animals to drink as well.Waki said, "Fourteen hundred."
