The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was on a journey and recited Surah at-Tin waz-Zaytun in one of the two rakahs of the night prayer.
حدثنا بهز حدثنا شعبة حدثنا عدي بن ثابت
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان في سفر فقرأ في العشاء الآخرة في إحدى الركعتين بالتين والزيتون
Its isnad is sahih. It was narrated by Bukhari 1/194 in the chapter on adhan, on reciting aloud in the evening prayer. Muslim 1/339, no. 464, in the chapter on prayer, on what is recited in the evening prayer. Abu Dawud 2/8, no. 1221. Tirmidhi 2/115, no. 310, who said, hasan sahih. Nasai 2/173, no. 1000. Ibn Majah 1/272, no. 834. And Malik 1/79, no. 27.
