Bara was asked, "Was the face of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sharp like a sword?"He replied, "No, rather it was like the moon."
حدثنا أحمد بن عبد الملك قال حدثنا زهير حدثنا
قيل للبراء أكان وجه رسول الله ﷺ حديدا هكذا مثل السيف قال لا بل كان مثل القمر
Its chain of transmission is sahih, Bukhari narrated it (6/565, no. 3552, Fath al-Bari, the Book of Virtues, description of the Prophet ﷺ), and Tirmidhi (5/598, no. 3636), with similar wording, and graded it hasan, and Darimi (1/45, no. 64), in the Introduction.
