I heard the Prophet ﷺ say on the day of Hunayn, "I am the Prophet, this is no lie. I am the son of Abdul-Muttalib."
حدثنا وكيع حدثنا أبي وإسرائيل عن أبي إسحاق
سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول يوم حنين أنا النبي لا كذب أنا ابن عبد المطلب
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Ishaq is Subayi, and the hadith was narrated at length by Bukhari in the account of the Battle of Hunayn. It was also narrated in this form by Muslim, 3/1400, no. 1776, in the book of jihad, the account of the Battle of Hunayn, and by Tirmidhi, 4/119, no. 1688, in the book of jihad, the chapter on steadfastness during combat, where he said it is hasan sahih.
