The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best of people are those of my generation, then those who follow them, then those who follow them. Then there will come a people whose testimony will outrun their oaths and whose oaths will outrun their testimony."
حدثنا حسين بن علي عن زائدة عن عاصم عن خيثمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ خير الناس قرني الذي أنا فيه ثم الذين يلونهم ثم الذين يلونهم ثم يأتي قوم تسبق شهادتهم أيمانهم وأيمانهم شهادتهم
