Abu Bakr came seeking permission to enter upon the Prophet ﷺ and heard Ayesha raising her voice at the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When permission was granted, he entered and said, "Daughter of Umm Ruman," reaching out toward her, "are you raising your voice at the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?"The Prophet ﷺ stepped between them to prevent him from striking her. When Abu Bakr left, the Prophet ﷺ began trying to please Ayesha, saying to her, "Don't you see that I came between the man and you?"Then Abu Bakr came again and sought permission to enter, and he found the Prophet ﷺ joking and laughing with her. Permission was granted, and he entered. Abu Bakr said to him, "Messenger of Allah, include me in your peace as you included me in your war."
