My father Bashir bin Saad carried me to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, bear witness that I have given Numan such and such," naming what he had given.The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Have you given every one of your children the same as you have given Numan?"He answered, "No."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Then have someone other than me bear witness." Then he asked, "Would it not please you that they all be equal in showing kindness to you?"He replied, "Of course."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Then do not do it."
