The Prophet ﷺ said, "The sin of two people who trade insults falls upon the one who started it, until the wronged one goes beyond bounds, or so long as the wronged one does not go beyond bounds."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ also said, "Two people who trade insults are like two devils, lying to each other and hurling worthless abuse at each other."
