Abu Musa said to Abdullah bin Masud, "If we cannot find water, are we not to pray?"Abdullah replied, "Yes. If we cannot find water for a month, we do not pray. If I were to grant them a concession in this matter, then whenever one of them felt the cold, he would do this," meaning, perform tayammum and pray.Abu Musa said, "I asked him, 'But what about what Ammar said to Umar?'"Abdullah answered, "I did not see that Umar was satisfied with Ammar's statement."
