I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, saying, "We are a people who hunt with these dogs."He replied, "When you release your trained dogs and mention the name of Allah, eat from what they catch for you, even if they kill it, unless the dog eats from it. If it eats, then do not eat, for I fear it caught it only for itself. And if other dogs mingle with yours, do not eat."

سألت رسول الله ﷺ فقلت إنا قوم نتصيد بهذه الكلاب قال إذا أرسلت كلابك المعلمة وذكرت اسم الله فكل مما أمسكن عليك وإن قتلت إلا أن يأكل الكلب فإن أكل فلا تأكل فإني أخاف أن يكون إنما أمسك على نفسه وإن خالطها كلاب من غيرها فلا تأكل
