He was riding behind the Prophet ﷺ on the Day of Sacrifice, and he kept reciting the talbiyah until he threw the pebbles at the Jamrah.Rawh said, "during the Hajj."Rawh said, meaning in his narration, he said, "Ali bin Zayd told us, he said, 'I heard Yusuf bin Mahak.'" Both of them said, "Ibn Mahak."

أنه كان رديف النبي ﷺ يوم النحر فكان يلبي حتى رمى الجمرة قال روح في الحج قال روح يعني في حديثه قال حدثنا علي بن زيد قال سمعت يوسف بن ماهك كلاهما قال ابن ماهك
