The Messenger of Allah ﷺ once stood among us and informed us of everything that would occur in his nation until the Day of Resurrection. Whoever retained it retained it, and whoever forgot it forgot it.
Its isnad is hasan, because of Amr bin Ibrahim bin Muhammad, whom Ibn Hibban rated trustworthy while Aqeeli rated him daif. Our practice is to accept Ibn Hibban's rating of trustworthiness when no one contradicts him. But when he is contradicted, his tendency toward leniency becomes apparent. I have only rated this hadith hasan here because it has a corroborating narration and its supporting evidence is strong. The hadith was narrated by Muslim, 4/2217, number 2891m, in the chapter on tribulations, the Prophet's ﷺ account of what will happen up until the Day of Resurrection. Also by Abu Dawud, 4/94, number 4240, and Tirmidhi, 4/483, number 2191, who said, hasan sahih.
