I was with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey, and he said to me, "Mughirah, take the water vessel."So I took it and went along with him. He walked until he was out of my sight, relieved himself, then came back wearing a Syrian cloak with narrow sleeves. He tried to pull his hands out through the sleeves, but they were too tight, so he drew his hands out from underneath the cloak instead. I then poured water for him, and he performed ablution as he would for prayer, wiped over his leather socks, and then prayed.

كنت مع النبي ﷺ في سفر فقال لي يا مغيرة خذ الإداوة قال فأخذتها قال ثم انطلقت معه فانطلق حتى توارى عني فقضى حاجته ثم جاء وعليه جبة شامية ضيقة الكمين قال فذهب يخرج يديه منها فضاقت فأخرج يديه من أسفل الجبة فصببت عليه فتوضأ وضوءه للصلاة ثم مسح خفيه ثم صلى
