A Jewish man said to another, "Come, let us go to this Prophet."The other replied, "Do not say 'this,' for if he heard you, he would have four eyes."So they went to him and asked him about this verse, "And We certainly gave Musa nine clear signs" [Isra 17:101].He said, "Do not associate anything with Allah, do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden except by right, do not steal, do not commit adultery, do not flee from the battlefield, do not practice magic, do not consume usury, do not hand over an innocent person to a ruler to have him killed, and upon you Jews specifically, do not transgress the Sabbath."They said, "We bear witness that you are the Messenger of Allah."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن شعبة حدثني عمرو بن مرة عن عبد الله بن سلمة
قال رجل من اليهود لآخر انطلق بنا إلى هذا النبي قال لا تقل هذا فإنه لو سمعها كان له أربع أعين قال فانطلقنا إليه فسألناه عن هذه الآية {ولقد آتينا موسى تسع آيات بينات} قال لا تشركوا بالله شيئا ولا تقتلوا النفس التي حرم الله إلا بالحق ولا تسرقوا ولا تزنوا ولا تفروا من الزحف ولا تسحروا ولا تأكلوا الربا ولا تدلوا ببريء إلى ذي سلطان ليقتله وعليكم خاصة يهود أن لا تعتدوا في السبت فقالا نشهد إنك رسول الله
