The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent us out on a military expedition and said, "March in the name of Allah, in the path of Allah. You will fight the enemies of Allah. Do not act treacherously with the spoils, and do not kill any child. The traveler may wipe over his leather socks for three days and their nights, provided he put them on while in a state of purity, and the resident may do so for one day and one night."
حدثنا أسود بن عامر قال أخبرنا زهير عن أبي روق الهمداني أن أبا الغريف حدثهم قال
بعثنا رسول الله ﷺ في سرية قال سيروا باسم الله في سبيل الله تقاتلون أعداء الله لا تغلوا ولا تقتلوا وليدا وللمسافر ثلاثة أيام ولياليهن يمسح على خفيه إذا أدخل رجليه على طهور وللمقيم يوم وليلة
