Amr bin Mura reported,

I heard Abdullah bin Salama narrating from Safwan bin Assal. Yazid al-Muradi said in his version, a Jew said to his companion, "Come with us to the Prophet ﷺ." In Yazid's wording, "to this Prophet ﷺ, so we may ask him about this verse, 'And We certainly gave Musa nine signs'."The other replied, "Do not call him a prophet, for if he hears you, he will have four eyes of delight."So they came and questioned him, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not associate anything with Allah, do not steal, do not commit adultery, do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden except by right, do not practice sorcery, do not consume usury, do not walk with an innocent person to a ruler so that he may have him killed, do not slander a chaste woman," or he said, "do not flee from the battlefield." Shuba was the one uncertain about which phrase was used. "And you, Jews in particular, are obligated not to transgress." Yazid said, "transgress concerning the Sabbath."The two then kissed his hand and foot, in Yazid's wording, his hands and feet, and said, "We bear witness that you are a prophet."He asked, "Then what prevents you from following me?"They answered, "Dawud prayed that prophethood would never cease among his descendants, and we fear," in Yazid's wording, "if we accept Islam, that the Jews will kill us."

عن عمرو بن مرة قال

سمعت عبد الله بن سلمة يحدث عن صفوان بن عسال قال يزيد المرادي قال قال يهودي لصاحبه اذهب بنا إلى النبي ﷺ وقال يزيد إلى هذا النبي ﷺ حتى نسأله عن هذه الآية {ولقد آتينا موسى تسع آيات} فقال لا تقل له نبي فإنه إن سمعك لصارت له أربعة أعين فسألاه فقال النبي ﷺ لا تشركوا بالله شيئا ولا تسرقوا ولا تزنوا ولا تقتلوا النفس التي حرم الله إلا بالحق ولا تسحروا ولا تأكلوا الربا ولا تمشوا ببريء إلى ذي سلطان ليقتله ولا تقذفوا محصنة أو قال تفروا من الزحف شعبة الشاك وأنتم يا يهود عليكم خاصة أن لا تعتدوا قال يزيد تعدوا في السبت فقبلا يده ورجله قال يزيد يديه ورجليه وقالا نشهد أنك نبي قال فما يمنعكما أن تتبعاني قالا إن داود عليه السلام دعا أن لا يزال من ذريته نبي وإنا نخشى قال يزيد إن أسلمنا أن تقتلنا يهود
