He said to Kaab bin Mura, "Kaab bin Mura, narrate to us from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and be careful."He said, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Shoot, you skilled marksmen. Whoever reaches the enemy with an arrow, Allah raises him by it one degree."Abdul-Rahman bin Abu an-Naham asked, "Messenger of Allah, what is the degree?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "It is not like your mother's doorstep. Rather, between the two degrees is a distance of one hundred years."
حدثنا أبو معاوية حدثنا الأعمش عن عمرو بن مرة عن سالم بن أبي الجعد
قال لكعب بن مرة يا كعب بن مرة حدثنا عن رسول الله ﷺ واحذر قال سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول ارموا أهل صنع من بلغ العدو بسهم رفعه الله به درجة قال فقال عبد الرحمن بن أبي النحام يا رسول الله وما الدرجة قال فقال رسول الله ﷺ أما إنها ليست بعتبة أمك ولكنها بين الدرجتين مائة عام
