Dilma reported,

He asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "Messenger of Allah, we live in a cold land and we drink a beverage that gives us strength."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked him, "Does it intoxicate?"He replied, "Yes."He repeated the question to him, "Does it intoxicate?"He replied, "Yes."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Then do not go near it."The man said, "But they will not be able to refrain from it."He said, "Whoever does not refrain from it, kill him."

أنه سأل رسول الله ﷺ فقال يا رسول الله إنا بأرض باردة وإنا نشرب شرابا نتقوى به فقال له رسول الله ﷺ هل يسكر قال نعم قال ثم أعاد عليه المسألة قال هل يسكر قال نعم قال فلا تقربوه قال فإنهم لن يصبروا قال فمن لم يصبر عنه فاقتلوه
