Muhammad bin Maslama reported,

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "When Allah casts into a man's heart the intention to propose to a woman, there is no harm in him looking at her."

حدثنا وكيع عن ثور عن رجل من أهل البصرة

عن محمد بن مسلمة قال

سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إذا قذف الله عز وجل في قلب امرئ خطبة امرأة فلا بأس أن ينظر إليها
