He narrated to him that the Prophet of Allah ﷺ used to send sacrificial camels and would instruct, "If any of them is about to perish and you fear for it, slaughter it, dip its sandal in its blood, strike its side with it, and do not eat from it, neither you nor anyone in your company."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا سعيد عن قتادة عن سنان بن سلمة عن ابن عباس أن
حدثه أن نبي الله ﷺ كان يبعث بالبدن فيقول إن عطب منها شيء فخشيت عليه فانحرها واغمس نعلها في دمها واضرب صفحتها ولا تأكل منها أنت ولا أحد من رفقتك
