He was traveling with Umar and had requested that Umar show him the Prophet ﷺ when revelation descended upon him.He said, "While the Prophet ﷺ was on a journey, with a covering set up to shield him from the sun, a man came to him wearing a cloak that bore traces of saffron dye."The man said, "Messenger of Allah, I have entered the state of consecration for an Umrah, and the people are mocking me. What should I do?"The Prophet ﷺ remained silent and did not answer him. While things stood like that, Umar gestured to me with his hand, so I put my head with theirs inside the covering. There was the Prophet ﷺ, his cheeks flushed red, breathing heavily for a while. Then the state passed from him, and he sat up.He asked, "Where is the one who was asking about the Umrah?"The man came forward, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "Take off this cloak of yours, and whatever you would do during your Hajj when you are in the state of consecration, do the same during your Umrah."
