I went out with the Prophet ﷺ on the expedition of hardship, and it was among the deeds I considered most reliable on my own behalf.I had a hired worker who got into a fight with another man. One of them bit the other, and the bitten man yanked his finger out, knocking out the biter's front tooth.The Prophet ﷺ said, "Should he leave his hand in your mouth for you to chew on?"The narrator said, "I think he said, 'as a stallion chews.'"

غزوت مع النبي ﷺ جيش العسرة وكان من أوثق أعمالي في نفسي وكان لي أجير فقاتل إنسانا فعض أحدهما صاحبه فانتزع أصبعه فأندر ثنيته وقال أفيدع يده في فيك تقضمها قال أحسبه كما يقضم الفحل
