A man reported,

I prayed the noon prayer at my home, then went out with some camels of mine to take them back to the herdsman. I passed by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was leading the people in the noon prayer, but I went on and did not pray with him.After I had taken my camels back and returned, this was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said to me, "What kept you, so-and-so, from praying with us when you passed by us?"I replied, "Messenger of Allah, I had already prayed at my home."He said, "Even so."
