Amr bin As reported,

Muhammad bin Abu Bakr was taken captive but refused. Amr kept questioning him, hoping he would request a guarantee of safety.Then Amr said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The protection granted by the lowliest of the Muslims is binding upon them all.'"
