I was sitting with Amr bin As when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us carrying a small shield or something similar. He shielded himself with it and urinated while seated.We said to one another, "Does the Messenger of Allah ﷺ urinate sitting like a woman?"He came to us and said, "Do you not know what befell the man from the children of Israil? When any of them got urine on himself, he would cut that part off. He forbade them from doing so, and so he was punished in his grave."
حدثنا وكيع حدثنا الأعمش عن زيد بن وهب
كنت أنا وعمرو بن العاص جالسين قال فخرج علينا رسول الله ﷺ ومعه درقة أو شبهها فاستتر بها فبال جالسا قال فقلنا أيبول رسول الله ﷺ كما تبول المرأة قال فجاءنا فقال أوما علمتم ما أصاب صاحب بني إسرائيل كان الرجل منهم إذا أصابه الشيء من البول قرضه فنهاهم عن ذلك فعذب في قبره
