Abu Thalaba reported,

"Messenger of Allah, we live in the land of the People of the Book. May we cook in their pots and drink from their vessels?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "If you cannot find others, wash them with water and cook in them."The man asked, "Messenger of Allah, we are in a land of game. How should we act?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ answered, "When you release your trained hunting dog and mention the name of Allah , and it kills the prey, then eat. If the dog is not trained, slaughter the prey yourself and eat. When you shoot your arrow and mention the name of Allah, and it kills the prey, then eat."
