The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "In Hellfire there are serpents like the necks of long-necked camels. One of them strikes a single bite, and its victim feels the burning of that bite for forty autumns. And in Hellfire there are scorpions like saddled mules. One of them strikes a single bite, and its victim feels the burning of that bite for forty years."
حدثنا موسى بن داود وحسن بن موسى قالا حدثنا ابن لهيعة وحسن بن موسى قال حدثنا ابن لهيعة عن دراج قال موسى في حديثه قال سمعت
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن في النار حيات كأمثال أعناق البخت تلسع إحداهن اللسعة فيجد حموتها أربعين خريفا وإن في النار عقارب كأمثال البغال الموكفة تلسع إحداهن اللسعة فيجد حموتها أربعين سنة
