The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to Ubayy and stayed as his guest, or Ubayy said to him, "Stay with me." He brought him some food, a dish of haysah, and sawiq, and he ate from it. He used to eat dates and discard the pits, and he indicated with his two fingers, the index and the middle, with their backs facing his mouth. Then he brought him a drink, and he drank, then handed it to the one on his right. Then a man stood up, took hold of the bridle of his mount, and said, "Pray to Allah for me."He said, "O Allah, bless them in what You have provided them, forgive them, and have mercy on them."
