Ali bin Abdullah bin Abbas came to us, and the descendants of Abdul-Muttalib gathered around him. He said, "I heard Abdullah bin Abbas narrate from his father Abbas bin Abdul-Muttalib, who said, 'I came to the Messenger of Allah and said, Messenger of Allah, I am your uncle, and I have grown old.'"He then mentioned the rest with the same meaning.

قدم علينا علي بن عبد الله بن عباس فحضره بنو عبد المطلب فقال سمعت عبد الله بن عباس يحدث عن أبيه عباس بن عبد المطلب قال أتيت رسول الله فقلت يا رسول الله أنا عمك قد كبرت سني فذكر معناه
