The Prophet ﷺ sent sacrificial animals with me and said, "If any of them becomes injured along the way, slaughter it, then dip its sandal in its blood and strike its side with it. Do not eat from it, neither you nor your companions, and leave it for the people to take."
حدثنا أسود بن عامر حدثنا شريك عن ليث عن شهر بن حوشب
بعث النبي ﷺ معي هديا وقال إذا عطب شيء منها فانحره ثم اضرب نعله في دمه ثم اضرب به صفحته ولا تأكل أنت ولا أهل رفقتك وخل بينه وبين الناس
