The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered the men to fight, and a man among his companions was struck by an arrow. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "This one has earned it."When he commanded them to fight, they said, "Then, Messenger of Allah, we will not say what the Children of Israil said, 'Go, you and your Lord, and fight. We will remain sitting right here' [Maidah 5:24]. Rather, go, you and your Lord, and fight, for we will be fighting alongside you both."
حدثنا عصام بن خالد حدثنا أبو عبد الله الحسن بن أيوب حدثني عبد الله بن ناسج الحضرمي قال حدثني
أمر رسول الله ﷺ بالقتال فرمي رجل من أصحابه بسهم فقال رسول الله ﷺ أوجب هذا وقالوا حين أمرهم بالقتال إذن يا رسول الله لا نقول كما قالت بنو إسرائيل {اذهب أنت وربك فقاتلا إنا هاهنا قاعدون} ولكن اذهب أنت وربك فقاتلا إنا معكما من المقاتلين
