The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "These lineages of yours are no cause to insult anyone. All of you are the children of Adam, like grain filling a measuring bowl that you have not filled to the brim. No one has any superiority over another except through religion or piety. It is enough disgrace for a man that he be foul-tongued, miserly, and obscene."
حدثنا يحيى بن إسحاق أخبرنا ابن لهيعة عن الحارث بن يزيد عن علي بن رباح
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن أنسابكم هذه ليست بمسبة على أحد كلكم بنو آدم طف الصاع لم تملئوه ليس لأحد على أحد فضل إلا بدين أو تقوى وكفى بالرجل أن يكون بذيا بخيلا فاحشا
