Uqba bin Amir reported,

A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ whether he could give his late mother's jewelry in charity on her behalf after her death.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked him, "Did she instruct you to do so?"The man replied, "No."He said, "Then do not."

سأل رجل رسول الله ﷺ أن يتصدق بحلي كان لأمه عن أمه بعد موتها فقال له رسول الله ﷺ أمرتك بذلك قال لا قال فلا
